Virginia Beach is home to four bases, big corporations such as Stihl and GEICO, and government contracting, the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, two malls, plenty of shopping and a great place for historians and fisherman alike.

Norfolk is home to the Norfolk Naval Base, Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University, a huge medical system, two shopping malls, several shopping centers, a minor league hockey (The Admirals) and baseball team (The Tides), plenty of history and a major seaport.
